Château Lamothe-Bergeron sold to French insurer CAPSSA

Château Lamothe-Bergeron has been sold to French insurance provider CAPSSA.

The 67-hectare AOC Haut-Médoc estate is located in the commune of Cussac-Fort-Médoc, in the south of the appellation. Since 2009 the estate had been owned by the Cognac house H. Mounier, a subsidiary of Unicoop. They had made significant investments, including the renovation of the chateau as part of a concerted drive to develop wine tourism acitivites at the estate.

CAPSSA is the provident institution created in 1994 to manage the new death and disability insurance scheme.
