Chateau Le Sartre sold to Bernard Magrez

Bernard Magrez has acquired Chateau le Sartre in Pessac-Leognan from the Perrin-Leriche family. The estate is situated close to Chateau de Fieuzal and has 33 hectares of vines, of which 10 hectares are for white wines. It was acquired by  Anthony Perrin in 1976 and on his death it was taken over by his sister, Marie-José, and her husband René Leriche.

In addition to four Grand Cru Classé estates in Bordeaux, Bernard Magrez owns numerous other estates in France, Spain, Portugal, California, South America, Morocco and Japan.
