Chateau Godeau sold to former owner of Calon Segur

Chateau Godeau in Saint-Emilion has been sold to one of the former owners of Chateau Calon Ségur, Agnes Florisoone, and her husband, according to the Sud Ouest.

Chateau Godeau covers 5.65 hectares and is situated on the south facing slopes of Saint-Emilion, close to Chateau Tertre-Roteboeauf. The property was previously owned by American Steve Filipov, who purchased the estate in 2007. Stephane Derenoncourt has been consulting since the 2009 vintage. The vineyard is planted with 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.
